I prefer to fly from here. SJC is not huge or intimidating; it's convenient and I have not had any issues or delays in my few visits. Security seems to run smooth and the lines move at a fair to good pace. I appreciate that Starbucks is on your way through the doors. One thing that is helpful to learn: when you park your vehicle you will be paying via a machine in the garage (not an attendant/booth)

Absolutely nothing international about this place. Glad by flight was delayed twice because if it wasn't I probably would have missed it because of this airport.

They had one line open with upwards of a hundred people waiting to get through security. After 45 minutes and a slow line I managed to get through. Getting through the metal detectors also took time because they only had two lines open. It was pathetic that it took so long. If I could avoid this airport in the future I will.

Modern type smallish airport. Terminals A and B are 7 minutes walk away from each other behind the security check. This is useful to know because terminal A has a lounge. If you are traveling from B you can still go to the lounge if you have time.
