The staff are friendly and available to answer your questions and help you find what you're looking for. The line for checking out may take some time as the number of cashiers seem to be on the low side. Aside from arts and crafts, Michael's usually sells a lot of holiday and seasonal decorations. It's a great place to pick up items for school projects and crafts.
